As part of our learning about Matariki we learnt about the seven stars of Matariki and the significance of each of the stars. We worked in groups to write about why each star is important and to draw appropriate illustrations on each star. We then put these all together to create our "Seven Stars of Matariki" mural.

In room 12 we are beginning to develop our proof-reading and dictionary skills. To help us with our dictionary skills we have been working on group activities to help us with putting words in alphabetical order. We have all been working cooperatively to help us complete each task.
